Garage Sale

As I tackle projects I seem to accumulate spare parts. Sometimes I take a couple of different approaches to a topic, or I over order bits by accident.  Sometimes generous supporters of the site send me parts to use or play with (which I greatly appreciate).

Rather than me hording them in the shop with them relegated to collect dust for years, I figured I’d offer them up here for anyone interested in buying them.  This isn’t for profit.  I just want to find them a new home, and hopefully generate a few proceeds to buy more parts for projects to create articles and videos from making the site even better.  One man’s garage fodder is another man’s gold.

All the parts are located in Sacramento, California, USA.  If you want to do a drop by to pickup the parts – I’ll buy you a coffee!

If you’d like to purchase an item, please reach out to me on the Contact Page.

Fuel Injectors – Brand New

During my series on fuel injectors and rebuilding them I had sent mine off to http://www.InjectorRepair.com to be refurbished.  To evaluate if the refurbished injectors were any good, I purchased three brand new Aston Martin injectors and sent them along to just be flow tested next to the refurbished ones.  These injectors are brand new other than their 5 minutes on a test stand flowing fuel for the comparison.  Call me crazy, yes, I bought the injectors just for that (and in case any of mine couldn’t be refurbished I had them on hand to replace mine).  Check out the video here.

Aston Martin p/n 4G4E-9F593-A6A available from ScuderiaParts.com for $67 USD each.

I have quantity three (3) to sell.

Verify this is the right injector for your specific car.  Later model V12’s use a different injector I think.

Since I paid full retail for them, and I’ve made you a video install guide, I’d like to get $60 USD each for them plus actual shipping costs.

Right Hand Front Fender / Wing – New

Yup, I have a brand new factory right hand front fender for a DB9 (2004 thru 2012).  I was surprised to learn the Aston Fenders are a light weight composite.  I’m not exactly sure what, but it’s not Aluminum, not fiber glass and not carbon fiber.   Was likely state of the art back in 2004 when the car was designed.

The condition is 99%.  As with any new shipped large body part there are a few minor scuffs to the primer from sitting around the shop and on shelves, and the pointy tips of the corners have a very minor chip.  Any new fender needs final body work prep, so this is easy for them to perfect as they fit to your Aston.  I will send pics/video of the fender so you can be assured what you are getting.

Offered for $1,750 USD plus actual shipping costs.   Packing and shipping this will be the biggest challenge – it’s nearly six feet long.

Left Hand Side Sill – New

This is the exterior lower sill that runs along below the door front to rear.  It’s made of some flexible plastic material and finished in factory grey primer.

It is a brand new factory part.  The condition is 99+%.  As with any new shipped part there are a few minor scuffs to the primer from sitting around the shop and on shelves.  Any new body panel needs final body work prep, so this is easy for them to perfect as they fit to your Aston.  I will send pics/video of the fender so you can be assured what you are getting.

Offered for $250 USD plus actual shipping costs.   Packing and shipping this will be a challenge – it’s over six feet long and flexible.

Mass Air Flow Sensor Tube – New

Aston Martin p/n 4G43-12B612-AB

This is a brand new OEM Mass Air Flow sensor tube.  This connects between the airbox in the fender well and the flexible tube that connects to the throttle body air intake.   It has a slot in it that holds the actual mass air flow sensor (that is a different part).  This part can get cracked at the airbox end where the flanges engage.  If you need a new one, here’s your chance.

  • Aston Martin part number 4G43-12B612-AB
    • Body – Engine Electronic Mass Air Flow Sensor
  • Available from Scuderia Car Parts online for about $21 USD (plus tax and ship).  Could this be the least expensive bespoke part ever for an Aston?

Just looking for a new home for it.  Offered for $10 USD plus actual shipping costs.

O2 Sensors – Aftermarket – Brand New

Walker O2 Sensor 250-24001

As I was creating my series on replacing the O2 sensors in a DB9, I also had a look at various makers O2 sensors.  I got a factory one, the Ford ones (you see me use in the videos) and these even less expensive aftermarket ones from Walker.  I spotted these over at RockAuto.com and they were listed for the DB9.  I went with the Ford sensors as it made a better story for the videos.

Walker part number 250-24001.   The box lists the country of origin as Japan (which probably means they don’t suck).   You should confirm this is the right part for your model and year of Aston.

I have Quantity 3 of these, all brand new in the box.  Looks like they go for about $32 USD new.

Just looking for a new home for it.  Offered for $15 USD each plus actual shipping costs.
